STEM for infants and toddlers? Yes, there are super fun ways to teach the foundations of patterns, building, and engineering, even for the youngest of minds!

The Happy World Fruit Delivery Bundle by Qbi, available from Timberdoodle Co. brings together the function of early childhood visual stimulation, with an easy-to-manipulate first building set. This bundle is available in the Tiny Tots curriculum kit, or individually.

With 9 magnetic track cubes, 10 pattern cards, 6 magnetic fruit pieces, 2 end pieces, a truck, and a magnetic delivery station cube, this set will give your young child hours of fun.

Infants will be captivated with the high-contrast double-sided cards — one side has a pattern you can build with the tracks, and the other side features a image with just a pop of color for developing eye sight. These cards are great to show during tummy time, diaper changes, and car ride distractions.

Once an infant can grasp, they will enjoy picking up the track cubes and shaking them since the magnets inside have a small rattling noise. As dexterity improves, they will be able to hold a block in each hand and put them together.

All 9 track cubes feature inner magnets that will attract on all sides–there are no polarity issues to confuse young children.

Toddlers will be fascinated with the fruit delivery system. Here you will build a track, place one piece of fruit in the back of the truck, pull it back, and watch it go along the track and “deliver” the fruit into the delivery system piece which has a magnet at the top to attract the fruit piece.

Building, stacking, lining up, and making patterns are all natural ways toddlers will utilize the 9 magnetic track blocks in creative play. My 2 year old son loves to pull out our basket where I store the set on his shelf and entertain himself by lining pieces up, stacking the magnetic tracks, and zooming the truck around the floor.

Even my 9-year-old found this a fun activity to do with her little brother and she helped him create a straight track to deliver the fruit on, over and over again.

We are really enjoying the unique versatility of Happy World Fruit Delivery. It’s not just a building set (like legos), or just a track (like a train set), there is a special factor here in that it’s compact, but can be made into endless track combinations with the pull-back truck and fruit pieces.

The Happy World Fruit Delivery Bundle is available in the Timberdoodle Tiny Tots curriculum kit, or individually.
